SG Standard is a guitar by which all other SGs are measured. It comes with a solid, flat body made of mahogany. Characteristic "devil`s horns" cutaway is there, as well as black plastic pickguard. This model features no binding, nor there is a top wood cover. There are two color schemes available or this model, Classic White and TC Yellow, both are finished in high gloss. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a regular tune-o-matic bridge/stoptail bar combo. Both are plated in chrome. Gibson Custom has equipped this model with a pair of Burstbucker pickups with split volume and tone controls. Pickups are selected with a standard three-way toggle switch. Mahogany neck is set-in and fit with '60s contour. It`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
