SG Menace really does look menacing with it`s sinister black styling and mighty smoky coil humbuckers. It kicks off with a standard double-cut body made of mahogany. Beveled edges, set in neck joint and black plastic pickguard complete the body specs. Construction-wise, SG still has the deep 'devil`s horns' cutaway and 19th fret heel, which made it famous back in 1960s. Menace is available only in black color. Neck on this one is made of mahogany. It features the classic '60s contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Fingerboard is only marked with a 5th fret inlay. 490R humbucker is installed in the neck position, while the 498T is in the bridge. These two are accompanied by a standard Gibson controls unit.
