50th Anniversary SG Standard 24 is a 24-fret SG model. A sight not seen every day, as SG series and Gibson standard is 22 frets. These 24 come in medium jumbo size, which is standard for Gibson, as is the use of figured acrylic trapezoid inlays. These frets are installed upon the bound rosewood fingerboard. This whole construction sits on a mahogany neck with standard SG contour in the back. Body of this anniversary SG is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany. Top is flat, finished in gloss and decorated with a small black pickguard. Antique Ebony is the only color option available for this model. Pickups on this 24-fret SG are Classic '57 humbuckers. They come with a standard set of control knobs and a three-way pickup switch.
