Maestro vibrato tailpiece is installed on a few, selected models in Gibson and Gibson Custom catalogs. It`s mainly reissue models, which replicate the guitars famous for their Maestro tailpiece that have it installed. This Standard Reissue is equipped with one and in it`s front a tune-o-matic bridge is installed. Both components are plated in nickel. Body of this model is made of mahogany, it`s thin, flat and solid. There is no top wood cover, nor there is binding around the edges. pickups on this Standard Reissue are Burstbuckers. Burstbucker 2 is in the bridge and Burstbucker 1 in the neck position. These pickups feature split volume and tone controls. Mahogany neck is set-in and equipped with a '60s slim taper contour. It`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
