Korina SG Standard is a model made by Gibson`s Custom department and it comes with a solid, flat body made of korina. Korina is a wood that is rarely used today, unlike the old days, when it was among the main tone woods in Gibson`s catalog. Gibson later fully switched over to mahogany bodies. From time to time, korina model is introduced, mostly for limited editions and special issues. Inverness Green, Pelham Blue, Classic White and Ebony variants are available. On top of the body Korina SG Standard features a standard bridge combo, made up of tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. Burstbucker pickups are featured in front of the bridge unit. Limba neck is featured on this one and it sports a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
