Faded models are among the more affordable options, ranking below the Custom, Standard and Deluxe. These are made for players who either like less decoration and luxurious appointments, or can not afford a very expensive guitar. Thus, the Faded Explorer is one of the affordable Explorers and it comes with a solid, flat mahogany body. Worn Cherry and Worn Brown are the only color schemes available for this model and they come with satin finish. Pickups on this one are Gibson`s 500T in the bridge and 496R in the neck position. Neck is made of mahogany, it`s set in and topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
