This is the Flying V, the V of all Flying Vs. Current Gibson USA Flying V is based on the 1967 design with the big pickguard, pointy headstock and redesigned electronics unit. It comes with a classic V body made entirely of mahogany. It`s flat on top and has set in neck joint. Heritage Cherry, Ebony and Classic White are the color options included in the color palette. All three come with high gloss finish. Standard bridge section includes a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar in the back. In the front, a pair of active humbuckers is installed. 496R is in the neck position and 500T in the bridge. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it sports the V contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
