Gibson Firebird V 2010 features one of Gibson`s most recognizable bodies, the original "reversed" Firebird shape with the pronounced lower cutaway.
Firebird V 2010 is a modern rendition of the legendary model aiming at the young players. It starts off with a flat mahogany body and set neck. Traditional features such as tune-o-matic bridge and dual minibucker pickups, split volume and tone controls and a three way toggle switch bring the flavor of the past. Neck on this model is made of multiple layers of walnut and mahogany with rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets and acrylic trapezoid inlays. Scale is 24-3/4" long with 1.695" wide corian nut. Chrome plated Schaller tuners, white pickguard and 12" fingerboard radius complete the picture. It is available in vintage sunburst, classic white and ebony. MSRP is set at $2299.

Trying to save up enough to buy one of these beasties. I would love to get one of the vintage versions but they seem to be out of my price range, hoping this guitar is very close to the classic firebirds, and from reading around it appears to be pretty close. Can't wait till i have the money and have this guitar resting in my arms
