Gary Clark Jr, also known as "The Chosen One" is the newest member of Gibson USA`s signature artist family. His debut signature model is a six-stringed SG, a model loosely based on the 24-fret SG Special. The price tag of $1,499, though, puts it in the league with SG Standard ($1,539).
Gary Clark Jr. Signature SG comes in with an interesting mix of features. It offers a traditional mahogany-made, twin-horned body, set-in neck w/fast contour, 24-3/4" scale, and customized electronics and hardware sections. Gloss Yellow is the name of the only currently available color option.
Other notable features include a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.695" nut, 12" radius), TOM/stoptail bridge, a trio of standard P-90 single-coils, and Grover tuners.
