Les Paul Classic models do not tribute special models, nor they are recreating specific age, decade or period. For Classics, Gibson luthiers just pick up a set of vintage styled appointments which match well together. This way, players get the very essence of what actually is a vintage Les Paul. This Faded model is made for all those who like their LPs vintage-styled and worn. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and plain maple top. Creme binding, satin finish and white plastic pickguard complete the body. Satin Ebony and Satin Cherry are the only color schemes available for this model. Standard tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge section is fronted by a pair of '57 Classic humbuckers. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
