RD Standard comes with a solid, single cut body made of mahogany in it`s entirety. It`s flat on top and black plastic pickguard is the only decoration. As for color options, RD Standard only has two. One is Ebony and the other is Trans Amber. Both are finished in gloss lacquer. Bridge section on top of the body is made up of two pieces. In the front, there`s a tune-o-matic bridge and in the back, there is a stoptail bar. RD Standard is equipped with a pair of open-coil humbucker pickups with standard Firebird controls. Neck on this model is solid, made of mahogany and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard is equipped with dot inlays, 1.69" corian nut and jumbo-sized frets.
