I had the chance to see the Shark Fin today. I see rows and rows of Les Pauls and SG's then outta nowhere Im drawn to this arc of light just hanging there. I see it and im in awe. a silver axe that looks as if its a weapon. like the sword Excalibur. It reminded me of a 57 Chevy meets the signatures on the U.S. constitution. It was amazingly well balanced and mean. I see the pictures on the Gibson site and they do no justice to this guitar. I mean this thing just came from nowhere! I plug it in to a Marshall and I tell you all....it sounded like a storm of metal. the action was perfect and the sustain was the best i ever heard. i may be a little over dramatic in this review but no other guitar has ever done this to me in 32 years of playing. When I left I had a new appreciation for art.
