The session series is based on a vintage/modern take on the classic 1950s electric guitar design concepts. Its current roster has 14 models, 11 double-cut and three single-cut. The double-cut division is split into Session and Progression sections, with the Session side claiming seven out of eleven models. Progression Plus HG RN is one of the remaining four Session series double-cuts. Its main features include a solid and double-cut basswood body, bolt-on neck construction, passive electronics (Seymour Duncan`s JB Jr stack humbucker in the bridge, Godin single-coils in middle and neck positions). Trans Cream is the name of the only currently available color option (gloss finish, tortoise pickguard). Other important features include a maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, Tru-Loc tremolo bridge, and die-cast tuners.
