The current lineup of the popular Session/Progression series has three LTD (Limited Edition) models in its ranks. All three belong to the double-cut side of the lineup, along with eight other "regular" models. Session LTD Desert Red HG MN is one of the limited edition models. It offers a solid and double-cut body (made of Canadian Laurentian basswood, w/vintage pickguard on top), bolt-on neck construction, premium hardware, and combined Seymour Duncan/Godin electronics (Seymour Duncan Custom Custom SH-11p in the bridge, Godin GS-1 single coils in middle and neck positions). The color palette is limited to Desert Red (w/gloss finish, chrome hardware, white plastic parts). Other important features include a maple neck, 22-fret maple fingerboard, string-thru Tru-Loc tremolo bridge, and die-cast tuning machines.
