The distinguished Session series is a home to a large number of vintage/modern six-stringers, predominantly based on the classic 1950s designs. Session SG RN belongs to the double-cut side of the family (where the majority of available models reside) and is among its finest representatives. Main features include a solid and flat body (made of Canadian laurentis basswood), classic bolt-on neck construction, passive Godin electronics (Godin humbucker in the bridge, with also GodinGS-1 single-coils in middle and neck positions), premium hardware, and vintage styling. Cherry Burst, Vintage Burst, and Black Burst options comprise the color palette (all options rock gloss finish, chrome hardware, white pickguards). Other important features include a solid maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.65" Graphtech nut, 25.5" scale, dot inlays), Tru-Loc Godin tremolo bridge, and die-cast tuners.
