G5420LH is a left-handed variant of the G5420T model in the Electromatic series of fully hollow bodied electric guitars. This series plays one of the most important roles on the market of hollow-bodied electrics as it offers some of the best models in the segment. G5420LH is a brand new model introduced just in time for the summer edition of 2012 NAMM Show. It comes in Orange and Aspen Green color options, both finished in high gloss. This is countered with a set of chrome-plated hardware. Tuning machines are vintage-styled and feature open backs. Scale length is standard 24-1/2" and it is common for all models from Electromatic series. Body of this model is made of five layers of maple and it features a carved top. Pair of "f" holes is carved onto the top and it features an elevated pickguard. Bridge section features adjust-o-matic bridge with rosewood base in the front and trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Pickups on this model are Filtertron humbuckers in both bridge and neck positions. Master volume, master tone, bridge volume and neck volume knobs are included in the controls unit. Also, a three-way toggle pickup switch is featured. Neck is made of maple and it is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 medium-jumbo frets, humpblock inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut complete the fingerboard.
