Electromatic Collection is one of the most important series of electric guitars in Gretsch catalog. This series covers a lot of ground with models ranging from jazzy hollow-bodies to rocking solids. Style-wise, Electromatic models pay tribute to the 1950s and 1960s guitars. All of the Electromatic guitars are six-stringers made of high quality wood and with supreme hardware appointments. Gretsch makes sure that every new model is on the level worthy of the brand`s reputation. For the fall of 2013, Gretsch introduces a new Electromatic model, the G5420T. This is a fully hollow and single-cut guitar with vintage styling and tone. It comes with a laminated maple body and solid maple neck. Top of the body is equipped with white binding, two "f" holes and elevated pickguard. Bridge section features a three-piece set made up of a rosewood-based adjust-o-matic bridge in the front, Bigsby vibrato bar in the middle and trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Two FilterTron humbuckers are installed in the front and have series standard controls. Maple neck is topped with a standard 22-fret fingerboard made of bound rosewood. It has medium-jumbo frets, humpblock position inlays and 1-11/16" wide string nut. Vintage tuners, chrome hardware and vintage tuners wrap the specs list.
