Gretsch`s 2018 lineup will be some 20 models stronger in 2018. The lineup of new models includes two limited editions (Electromatic and Professional Collections` models marking the 135th anniversary of Gretsch), as well as additional six Players Edition models (including this one). The new Players Edition models offer the stage-oriented setups, sturdy hardware, top-notch wiring, and unparalleled playability. Intonation and tuning stability are also on the professional level. G6129T Jet comes in Silver Sparkle (natural back/sides, sparkle top finish, chrome hardware) and costs $2,900 (MSRP). Main construction features include a chambered mahogany body w/laminated maple top, a mahogany neck (U-profile, gloss finish), a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (24.6" scale, 1.6875" nut, 12" radius), a two-piece bridge w/Bigsby tailpiece, Filter`Tron pickups, and locking Gotoh tuners.
