G6131 Players Edition Jet FT w/Bigsby is one of six new models Gretsch introduced into the Players Edition series at this year`s NAMM. It will be available in Firebird Red (w/gloss finish, dark back & sides, chrome-plated hardware, and black plastic parts). The MSRP is set at $2,780, which puts this model along with the rest of the mid-priced Professional Collection models (Players Edition is still officially a part of the Professional Collection). Main features include a single-cut Jet body (chambered mahogany base, laminated maple top, white binding, black pickguard), a mahogany neck (U profile, gloss finish, set-in joint), a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.6875" nut, 24.6" scale, 12" radius, thumbnail inlays), a two-piece bridge (w/Bigsby tailpiece), Filter`Tron pickups, and locking Gotoh tuners.
