G6139T-CBDC Falcon is the double-cutaway variant of the G6139CB Falcon model. These two are identical in almost every respect, except the body construction. G6139T kicks off with an all-maple body and maple neck, which is the standard Gretsch combination of tonewoods. Semi-hollow body is fit with a center block made of spruce, which runs through the entire length of the body. It gives better sustain, less feedback, allows higher gain on the pickups and improves the tone projection. In the back, the block is fit with a series of weight relief chambers which connect the bass and treble side cavities. The cavities are vented through a pair of vintage-styled "f" holes. On the top, Gretsch installs the classic Adjustomatic bridge with rosewood base and a Bigsby tailpiece in the back. In the front, there are two Filtertron humbuckers with the standard Gretsch set of control knobs and switches. Maple neck rocks the Professional Collection series standard contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Grover`s Imperial die-cast tuners are featured on the headstock. The MSRP for both the black and white models is set at $4,150.
