G6228FM Players Edition Jet BT w/V-Stoptail is one of six models Gretsch introduced this year into the famous Players Edition (a stage-oriented sub-series of the Professional Collection). It rocks the well-known single-cut Jet body with modern construction and vintage decorations & hardware. The body is made of a chambered mahogany base and a two-piece flame maple top (w/white binding and gold-plated pickguard). The neck`s made of mahogany, as well. It features the standard U profile, gloss finish, and set-in joint. The fingerboard on its top is made of ebony (1.6875" nut, 24.6" scale, 12" radius, block inlays). Other notable features include a two-piece hardtail bridge (w/ V-shaped stoptail), Broad`Tron BT65 pickups, and Gotoh tuning machines.
