Starfire guitars and basses are a significant part of Guild`s electric range, especially in the semi-hollow and hollow-body segments. Currently, there are five Starfire guitars and two basses featured in the Newark St. Collection lineup, with Starfire VI being the most expensive of them all ($2,085). Starfire VI is a semi-hollow six-stringer, the flagship model of the Starfire range. It offers a double-cut body (arched back/top), glued-in neck (24-3/4" scale), and Guild hardware & electronics. Blonde is the only available color option. Core construction features include laminated flame maple body (back, sides, top, center block), maple/walnut/maple neck, and 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Starfire VI also features TOM/vibrato bridge unit, LB-1 small humbucker pickups, and Grover tuners.
