Monaco Elite P-90 is the same model as the standard Monaco Elite, but with P-90 pickups made by Seymour Duncan, instead of the regular custom wound humbuckers, also made by Seymour Duncan. These pickups, along with the vintage styling, take the Monaco Elite back to the 1950s, when the fat single-coil pickups ruled the scene. Aged covers, vintage tone and classic control knobs design are the main features of these marvelous pickups. Behind them, Hamer installs the standard two-piece bridge section made up of Tonepros tune-o-matic bridge in the front and stoptail bar in the back. Body of this Monaco is single-cut, semi-hollow and made of mahogany back with hard rock maple top. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

This guitar is a GREAT VALUE. I love the tone and playability of the neck. PROS: Korina body and neck, Long-tenon set neck joint (I pulled the neck pickup and could see the outline towards the bridge side of the pocket!), shielded cavity and clean soldering on electronics, decent quality tuners, pretty good pickups, STREET PRICE UNDER $650!!! CONS: Thick poly paint, could use a belly cut
