Monaco series is a line of single-cut guitars with design features based on the legendary Les Paul from Gibson. Though having a similar body silhouette and some reminiscent features, Monaco series models possess their own unique spirit and tone. Perhaps, the main reasons for a different tone are the use of spruce sound boards, instead of maple tops, as well as use of Seymour Duncan pickups, instead of the Gibson pickups. Monaco Subtone is an exception to the series and has a fully solid body made of mahogany back and mahogany top. Standard two-piece bridge section is fronted by a pair of Seymour Duncan custom pickups in H/H configuration. Also, the standard controls unit is featured along their side. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
