AM/AMF Series guitars from Ibanez are semi-hollow bodied guitars with bodies slightly smaller than the regular and vintage looks and tone meant to evoke the 1960s sound.
AMF73 has a double cutaway body made of maple top, back and sides with a flat top design. Amplification of this model is in the hands of two Ibanez made ceramic humbuckers, the ACH1-S in the bridge and ACH1-S in the neck position. The pickups are controlled through split volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. The knobs are vintage "chicken head" knobs. Mahogany neck has an Artcore contour with a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 22 large frets, dot inlays and 1.69" wide nut. It is available in black and tobacco flat colors. This model costs around $400.
