Korn is one of the pioneering bands of the NU metal movement and one with the great longevity and vitality. Korn`s guitar players are now both Ibanez signature artists. Head was inducted into the family at 2014 NAMM, while the Munky`s APEX series was introduced years ago. For 2014, APEX is reinforced with a pair of brand new models and APEX20 is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body taken from the iconic RG series. It is made completely of basswood and is paired with a three-piece neck. Simple neck is fit with Munky`s custom contour in the back and is attached to the body with a classic bolt-on joint. On the top side of the body, there is the classic seven-saddled Gibraltar bridge with black plating. DiMarzio`s passive pickups are featured in the APEX series standard H/S configuration. Master volume and the three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Back side of the maple neck is, just like the body, finished in gloss. Top side, on the other hand, is covered with a regular 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. 24 jumbo-sized frets, side dot inlays and 1.89" string nut complete the fingerboard.
