SIR27FD comes from the Iron Label series introduced by Ibanez Guitars at this year`s NAMM show. Iron Label is a mix of RG and S series-oriented models with solid, double-cut bodies. All of the models from this series aim at young metal guitarists who care more about the performance than looks. Models come from RG and S series and RGs come with active pickups, while the S models sport DiMarzio passive pickups. SIR27FD has a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany. It`s carved on the top and bound in creme. Black is the only color option for this model. Bridge section is equipped with a hardtail Gibraltar bridge made with string-through construction. Pickups featured in the front are PAF-7 humbuckers. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Maple/bubinga neck is bolted to the body and equipped with a Wizard contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
