Iron Label SIR Electric Guitars by Ibanez
Iron Label SIR Electric Guitars by Ibanez
SIR70FD is one of three six-stringed guitars from the newly established Iron Label series from Ibanez Guitars. This series is one more metal-oriented line from Ibanez and it has no nonsense approach to the build philosophy. This results in stripped down beasts with six, seven and eight strings. SIR70FD is shaped after the S series models, which means solid body, double cutaway and carved top. Body of this model is made of mahogany in it`s entirety. It is bound around the edges with creme binding, which only accentuates the gorgeous curves. Black is the only color scheme available for this model and it is finished in gloss. Bridge section features a standard Gibraltar bridge with six saddles and string-through construction. Pickups on this one are installed in H/S/H pattern and are made by DiMarzio. Air Norton is in the neck, True Velvet in the middle and Tone Zone in the bridge. Neck is a standard done for this series, it is made of three pieces of maple and bubinga and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
