SIX70FDBG opens up the six-model line of S series models with Iron Label treatment. Ibanez has introduced these models for the autumn of 2013 with intention of spicing up the situation in the intermediate class of the market. These S models are as elegant as ever and pack a serious punch. SIX70FDBG is made with standard hardware features, standard construction and exotic materials. It features the classic S series double-cut body with mahogany base and bubinga top. This unusual and rare top is matched perfectly with gold-plated hardware and abalone binding around the edges of the body. Ibanez offers this Iron Label six-stringer in natural color with glossy finish. On the top of the body, there is the standard six-saddled Gibraltar bridge with gold plating. In the front, Ibanez installs a set of three passive DiMarzio pickups in H/S/H configuration. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Three-piece neck is made of maple and bubinga laminates and it is bolted to the body. In the back, it features the Wizard contour, while on the top, a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony is installed.25-1/2" scale, 15-3/4" fingerboard radius and standard 1.69" nut width complete the specs list.
