George Benson is, along with Pat Metheny and John Scofield, one of the veterans of Ibanez Signature Artist range. They`re the only three guitarists in the Hollowbody segment of the signature line. They`ve been there for years and have become an integral part of the Ibanez family. Their models are made with great taste and exhibit stunning quality of build and tone. George Benson`s line is the only one getting new models at the start of 2016. GB10SE is the name of the only hollowbody signature this year. It is a single-cut guitar with short scale, traditionally passive electronics and gorgeous vintage styling. GB10SE starts off with a carved-top body made of maple and spruce. Maple-made back and side panels are accompanied by a two-piece spruce sound board. Pretty deep and spacious body of this fantastic jazz box is paired with a three-piece maple neck with custom GB profile. 22-fret ebony fingerboard features white binding, split block inlays, 1.69" nut and medium-sized frets. GB Special minibucker pickups bring that classic George Benson tone with doppelganger level of precision. Two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way switch comprise the controls. ART-W bridge with a custom trapezoid tailpiece and a set of vintage tuners complete this masterpiece.
