Jake Bowen of Periphery and Ibanez are joining forces once more for 2016 NAMM show. This time around, instead of just one, Jake Bowen`s signature series receives two models - one six-stringer and one seven-stringer. JBM20, as it is named, is the six-string option among the two. It is a solid-bodied guitar with double-cut (S series body) design, carved top, standard 25-1/2" scale and passive electronics. Combined gold and black hardware, reversed headstock, elegant maple binding and super deep lower cutaway are also among the highlight features. Matte Black is the only color option available. Jake Bowen`s JBM20 has a standard base made of a mahogany/maple body (mahogany base and carved maple top) and three-piece maple neck (it is a three-piece neck with Wizard III profile). Fingerboard is made of rosewood and has a set of 24 jumbo-sized frets. 1.69" locking nut, custom 12th fret inlay and 15.75" radius complete the lightning-fast fingerboard. Electronics department is equipped with a pair of custom-voiced DiMarzio Titan pickups with creme-colored covers and a simple controls unit (master volume and a five-position switch). The pickups can be split (position 2 of the blade switch), while the neck pickup can even be connected in parallel (position 4). These bad boys deliver much more than modern metal sounds, giving the players a huge range of clean and dirty tones. Ibanez Edge III bridge and Gotoh tuners complete the specs.
