Back in 1987 Steve Vai`s original Ibanez JEM777 was introduced at the annual NAMM show. Thirty years later and Ibanez and Steve celebrate this huge milestone with the reissue of the guitar that started one of the biggest revolutions in history of electric guitar. JEM777, the 2017 edition, is a limited edition guitar made for the enthusiasts, collectors and Steve`s biggest fans. It starts off with a solid, flat JEM body made of basswood, bolt-on maple/walnut neck (with JEM profile) and maple-made fingerboard (with 24 6105 Dunlop frets, Disappearing Pyramid inlays, 25-/" scale and 16" radius). Hardware and electronics sections feature Edge tremolo bridge (with locking nut and Lion Claw grooves), DiMarzio pickups, die-cast tuners. Loch Ness Green, Desert Sun Yellow and Shocking Pink are available color options.
