JEM series is one of the most important signature series in the Ibanez catalog. It is made for a long number of years for one of the best and most respected fret wizards, Mr Steve Vai himself. JEM7V7 is a new and fresh addition to the series and is also one of several seven-stringers introduced in recent years. It comes with a classic white and double-cut RG body made of alder. There are, traditionally, no top wood covers on JEM models. White remains the signature color of the series and is the only option assigned to this axe. Bridge section features tested and proven Ibanez Edge locking tremolo bridge with gold plating. Entire hardware is plated in gold. Pickups in the front are made by DiMarzio and are installed in H/S/H pattern, characteristic for JEM line. Neck is made of five pieces of maple and wenge. It`s bolted to the body and equipped with JEM contour in the back. This mind-blowing seven-stringer rocks a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and vine inlays across them.
