RG550XH is a 30-fret beast that`s been introduced this January into the RG Tremolo series made by Ibanez Guitars. This model features jumbo-sized frets and dot inlays over them. Standard 15-3/4" radius and 1.69" locking nut are featured on the fingerboard. The extended fingerboard is featured on a standard-scaled guitar and to make it easy for the player to access the extra frets, Ibanez makes a deeper cutaway on the body and pushes back the bolt-on joint. Wizard contour is featured in the back of this six-stringer`s neck. Body is solid, double-cut and flat on the top. It`s made entirely of basswood. Red Sparkle with sparkle gloss finish is the only color scheme available for this model. Due to an unorthodox fingerboard length, there are only the bridge humbucker and middle single coil, which is now a neck single coil. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Bridge behind the pickups is Ibanez Edge Zero II bridge.
