RGD Prestige Electric Guitars by Ibanez
RGD series was introduced several years ago to accommodate players who prefer to play in dropped tunings (drop D, drop C and even lower), for the regular RG models were designed primarily for standard tunings. Since it`s inception, RGD has become a staple line in the RG range, as players around the world embraced these killing metal machines. Mostly, RGD models come with passive pickups and standard (25-1/2") scales. Also, they feature distinctive beveled tops. For 2014, RGD has been reinforced with the magnificent RGD7UC seven-stringer. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of basswood and a three-piece neck made of maple. On the top, RGD7UC is fit with a Tight End bridge with seven adjustable saddles and string-through-body construction. Pickups installed in the front are Bare Knuckle Aftermath 7 passive humbuckers. These bad boys pack enough punch to knock the elephant off it`s feet. Master volume knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the small controls unit. Maple neck is made of three pieces of wood and rocks the slim and fast Wizard contour in the back. On the top, Ibanez installs the standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
