Mikro series is one of the standard sections of the world-wide famous RG range. It`s role is to offer down-sized and short-scaled variants of the standard RG models. For 2014, Ibanez has introduced two models into this series and RGM55 is one of them. This baby six-stringer comes with a solid and double-cut basswood body. Body of RGM55 is smaller than the bodies of regular RG models in order to look proportionate to the 22-3/4" scale. Body of this model is paired with a standard three-piece maple neck. On the top, there is a classic hardtail bridge with six saddles and string-through construction. It is plated in black. In the front, Ibanez installs the most famous DiMarzio pack: Tone Zone in the bridge position and Air Norton in the neck position. Master volume, master tone and a blade switch comprise the controls. Maple neck is fit with the fast and smooth Wizard contour in the back and topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
