The Standard series (created through the merger of RG Fixed and RG Tremolo lines) is the most affordable and the most versatile one. It also serves as the testing grounds for new ideas. RGMS8 (and its seven-stringed sibling, RGMS7) is the most affordable multi-scale Ibanez to date. It is available in Black and offers a solid mahogany body (flat top, no pickguard, no binding), a 5-piece maple/walnut neck (bolt-on construction), a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard, a Monorail bridge, Array-8 humbuckers, and die-cast tuners.
