S7521QM is one of many seven-stringers Ibanez has introduced at this year`s NAMM show. Together with a multitude of other novelties, S7521QM reinforces the S series lineup for 2014. It is a solid and double-cut guitar with classic S series design, standard scale length (25-1/2"), bolt-on neck construction, passive electronics and 24-fret fingerboard. Body of this great seven-stringer is made of mahogany base and quilted maple top. Ibanez offers it in two options: Transparent Gray Burst and Transparent Red Burst. Both are finished in satin and have black hardware. On the top, bridge section is fit with a classic hardtail bridge, instead of the Edge tremolo bridge characteristic for the S series. Passive QM-7 humbucking pickups are installed in the bridge and neck positions. They come with master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. Standard three-piece maple neck is bolted to the mahogany/maple body and it sports the classic Wizard contour in the back. On it`s top, there is a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
