S7521 is the seven-string variant of the newly introduced S521 model. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made entirely of mahogany. Together with basswood and alder, mahogany is the most popular tonewood used for the bodies of electric guitars. Manufacturers use them for solid, semi and fully hollow guitars, both for bodies and necks. Mahogany gives a strong and resonant tone with stronger low end. To balance it out, some models are equipped with maple necks, or maple tops. S7521 features a bolt-on maple neck. There`s only one color scheme available for this model, it`s the classic Black with satin finish and black hardware. On the top, S7521 is fit with a hardtail bridge, as are all the S series models with numerical label ending with number 1. In the front, there are two extended range humbuckers. Passive QM-7 humbuckers are installed in both the bridge and neck positions. Maple neck is made of three pieces of wood and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Die-cast tuning machines complete the specs list.
