S920E hits the market just in time to make it to the NAMM 2012 exhibition. It is one of many novelties from Ibanez this year. It starts off with a double cutaway body made of African mahogany. It has a carved top without binding and pickguards. S920E is available in black color with glossy finish. The bridge is Ibanez ZR II locking tremolo bridge plated in cosmo black. The pickup combo consists of two veteran humbuckers, the EMG81 in the bridge and EMG60 in the neck position. They are controlled through master volume knob and a three-way toggle switch. The tone pot is omitted. The neck is made of maple and walnut and is constructed out of five pieces of wood. The fingerboard features 24 jumbo sized frets. The MSRP is set at $1,458.
