Ibanez introduced the X segment a couple of years ago in order to shake up the extreme metal scene and the part of the market dedicated to the hardest body-slamming and heaviest head-banging metal troopers out there. Falchion, a crossbreed sword (somewhere between a sword with a crossguard and an axe) from medieval times served as an inspiration for this equally brutal guitar. XF350, it`s prime representative comes with a solid, star-shaped body made of mahogany and a bolted maple neck. On the top, there is an Edge III tremolo and a pair of super high gain active Ibanez pickups. Master volume and a three-way toggle pickup switch speak enough about the orientation of this axe. Maple neck rocks the slim Wizard III profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
