Sometimes, six strings can not suffice and one neck is not enough for a player. These are rare occasions and only the most skilled among the guitarists can successfully wield a double-neck guitar. Ibanez has prepared one of the most extreme double-necks ever seen, the magnificent XPT1400TW. It belongs to the Xiphos series and is the equivalent of having the XPT700 with both the hardtail and locking trem bridge, thus the 1400 in it`s name. This double-neck comes with a body made of mahogany wings and two five-piece maple walnut necks (both necks run through the body). One hardtail bridge, one Edge tremolo and four DiMarzio D-Activator pickups are featured on this 14-stringed axe (seven strings on each neck). Two rosewood fingerboards with 24 frets complete the specs list.
