Xiphos is a relatively new line in Ibanez catalog, introduced couple of years ago. It deals with solid-bodied metal axes with extreme design and construction. XPT700XH is one of six currently active Xiphos models. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany and a multi-laminated maple/walnut neck. This combination of tonewoods secures a super heavy and tight low end, with clear and bell-like mids. Green Shadow Flat is the name of the only color scheme Ibanez has assigned to this model. It comes with satin finish and black hardware. Locking Edge tremolo bridge is installed on the top. It is fronted with a pair of passive DiMarzio pickups. Maple and Walnut neck is completed with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
