Corey Beaulieu of american metal act Trivium is one of the newest and youngest Jackson Signature artists. He was introduced into the tribe at NAMM 2013, where his series was launched. Corey picked the iconic King V contour with modern design, similar to Phil Demmell`s Demmellition models. KV6 and KV7 models were introduced and are currently the only ones in the series. Body of this model is made of alder base with flamed maple top. No excessive decorations are installed on this model, this one is all about pure precision and brutality. Flat-top body does not feature pickguards, nor Jackson puts binding around the edges. Bridge section is a standard one, it features a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge helped by a locking nut located on the opposite side of the fingerboard. Pickups on Corey Bealieu KV6 are made by Seymour Duncan and are AHB-1B B in the bridge and AHB-1N in the neck. Master volume and a three-way toggle switch are the only controls available on Corey`s signatures. Quartersawn maple neck runs through the body and is topped with an exquisitely fast 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Jackson tuners and standard 25-1/2" scale wrap the list of specs.
