JCS Special Edition Rhoads RR24 Yellow Bevels is a variation on the JCS Special Edition Rhoads RR24 model. These two are practically identical and one of minor differences is the yellow bevel line around the body top. Other than that, these two are pretty much the same. RR24 Yellow Bevels comes with a solid and flat-top alder body (wings of the body are made of alder) and maple neck (neck is running through the body). Black with glossy finish and gold-plated hardware is the only color option for this model. Bridge section is equipped with a licensed Floyd Rose bridge made by Jackson. In it`s front, there is only one, bridge pickup. It is EMG`s HZ-rB. A fantastic pickup made for metal (heavy, thrash and speed metal being it`s focus area). It comes with a super simple controls unit made up of a master volume knob and a two-way toggle pickup switch (pickup switch acts as a kill switch). Maple neck is fit with a super fast and comfortable contour in the back and is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.Jumbo-sized frets, abalone inlays, 1-11/16" wide locking nut and Compound 12"-16" radius complete the fingerboard.
