JCS Special Edition Soloist SL2Q Transparent Black is one of eleven models in the current Special Edition series lineup. This series is made up of one Kelly, one King V, two Rhoads models, one Warrior and six Soloists, showing clearly who is the king of the Special Edition. SL2Q Transparent Black is one of three SL2 models and it comes with a solid, double-cut body made of alder. On it`s top, there is a quilted maple cover (a two-piece top made of matching pieces of maple). As it is customary for the Special Edition models, SL2Q Transparent Black is available in only one color which is Transparent Black in this case. It comes with a glossy finish and black-plated hardware. Six-saddled Floyd Rose bridge is fronted with a pair of high performance Seymour Duncan pickups: HB TB4 in the bridge position and SH1 in the neck. These two are controlled through a master volume knob, master tone knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Super fast maple neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with jumbo-sized frets, custom 12th fret inlay and 1-11/16" wide locking nut. Gotoh tuners on the headstock complete the specs list.
