JCS Special Edition Soloist SL2-7 Snow White is the only seven-stringed model in the current series lineup. It is made for all the players out there who want a top-notch seven-string Soloist guitar. No filler, no compromise, only the best of what Jackson has to offer has been put into this amazing guitar. Solid and double-cut body of this seven-stringer is made of alder, while the neck is made of maple (the most popular combination of tonewoods in history of Soloist). This one, as well as the other Soloist models in this series, is modeled after the classic 1980s models. This one is available only in Snow White with glossy finish and black-plated hardware. Floyd Rose double-locking bridge is featured on this one, as well as on every other Special Edition model. Seymour Duncan`s SH-57 humbuckers are installed in both the bridge and neck position and are controlled through a simple controls unit (master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch). Quarter-sawn maple neck is super fast and very comfortable. On it`s top, there is a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony (all models in the current series lineup have ebony fingerboards with 24 jumbo-sized frets).
