USA Select B models reinforce the Select lines for 2013. Jackson introduced four of them and they all feature baritone scales, modern bodies, extended range and active electronics. A dream come true for metalheads bent on growling low-tuned axes with mean looks. Or, shall we say, a nightmare come true. Jackson did a mighty good job with these axes, giving them awesome tone, very reliable hardware and high quality tone woods. USA Select B8MG Deluxe is the king of the hill with it`s eight strings, EMG pickups and neck-through body construction. It`s body is solid, double-cut and made of more and more popular alder. It features beveled edges and contoured back. Satin finish is applied over the body. Bridge section features the sturdy and reliable eight-saddle hardtail bridge. Strings run through the body, thus giving greater stability and more sustain. EMG pickups installed on this model are 808s in both the bridge and neck positions. Master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the small, but strong electronics unit. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is topped with series standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Jackson-branded Gotoh tuners are installed on the headstock.
