Jay Turser`s VS series models are steeped in surf rock tradition up to their headstocks. Based on the guitars popular during the style`s heyday in `60s, VS guitars bring back the rebellious and youthful attitude. The current lineup consists of only three models, two based on the Mustang body style and one based on the Jaguar. JT-JG is the Jaguar-based option; the main features include a solid and flat body (all-basswood construction, vintage pickguard), passive electronics (three single-coil pickups, basic controls unit), and stock hardware. Tobacco Sunburst, Sonic Blue, Ivory, Candy Apple Red, and Black options comprise the color palette. Other notable features include a maple neck (adjustable truss rod), rosewood fingerboard (21 frets, dot inlays), string-thru tremolo bridge, and die-cast tuners.
