Kay Guitars was one of the most important and forward brands in the early stages of the electric guitar development. Their full potential was reached in the 1960s and since then, brand was closed and revived several times. Current incarnation of Kay Guitars is concentrated on the reissue models of their once popular models. Thin Twin is one such model. It comes with a semi-hollow single-cut body. It is made of laminated maple panels and paired with a maple neck running through the entire length of the body. Cherry Sunburst, Blonde and Black color schemes are finished in gloss and fit with nickel/chrome hardware. Pair of thin single-coil pickups is installed on the top of the body. C-shaped maple neck is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
